No matter the meat, the marinade matters most! While Drew’s favorite cilantro marinade probably won’t work as well with beef, it will make your chicken, fish, or seafood sparkle. If you’re a cilantro fan then this is a go-to marinade for any cooking you’ll do, but if you’re not don’t worry… we’ll have another recipe next month!
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
- ¼ cup lime juice
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Preparation:
- Couldn’t be simpler. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Defrost meat. Put meat in covered container or sealable plastic bag and cover with marinade. Refrigerate. Allow to soak at least 12 hours.
- This marinade can be used immediately, refrigerated for use later in the weekend, or frozen for use anytime through the year.
