Fair and honest, which is rare these days. categioTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been coming to Tom and his team since 2019. They have consistently given amazing service, advice, and thorough explanation. As someone who is neurodivergent, deep understanding of anything a service provider provides and why is extremely impotant to me. I trust them. They've never steered me wrong and although at times have not been super accurate or clear on the phone, all that is cleared up when I get to the shop. I realize phone conversations are timed in a lot of companies and they are a small shop with only one or two people answering the phones as service agents. Their time is also limited, so I give them a modicum of grace. If you havent worked client facing you may not understand this. Hope this helps someone who didn't understand that concept! The bad reviews I've seen are very confusing to me. Thanks for the great service over the years, Tom & Co! Mary ReynoldsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was experiencing some noises and rubbing on passenger rear tire, also at times I did smell some rubber and the area felt hot. I always use Tom Dwyer for my vehicle service so I called and they were able to get my vehicle in within 24 hours. I explained my situation and also discussed that I believe my vehicle had new rear brakes about 2 years ago. Jared called after inspecting the vehicle and acknowledged that the caliper on the rear tire was an issue- he said that even though the brakes, rotors and calipers were done about 2 years ago they were just outside the warranty but Tom Dwyer was going to replace the rear brakes, rotors and calipers under warranty and my bill was going To be $0. (Saving me over $1200). I appreciate the loyalty to their customers, honest work and efficiency. If you are in need of vehicle service I highly recommend Tom Dwyer Automotive in Sellwood! We dropped by expecting to do that or get a referral to elsewhere. But it turned out they could replace it right then! That might not always be the case, but I appreciate their being able to do that when they had a free moment. Sue SchubertTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The Best Automotive Service in the Country, and since my husband and I have lived in seven locales/states, we have some experience! No matter how old or new your car is, I suggest that when it needs the next service appointment you call Tom Dwyer Automotive and make an appointment. Even if it's a new car, taking it to the dealer will no doubt cost you more than taking it to Tom's! We love them: Fabulous service, courteous, efficient, honest, and they never do anything that is not needed. We have owned our Lexus NX 300h since 2018 and thus far it hasn't needed much more than new tires and a regular service. This says a lot about Lexus as well as about Tom Dwyer Automotive in Sellwood. And, by the way, their choice is to service cars that are 15 years old or younger. Not age discrimination---never at Tom's---as one car and one person is treated just as respectfully as the other, just good business sense. We love you, Tom and crew! Kirsten LeisingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I always know when I take my car to Dwyer it’s in good hands. They always try to save me from any extra unnecessary maintenance. But if do need something done, they do a very thorough diagnostic, find the problem, give me an accurate estimate and fix my car within days. I always feel relieved when I drop it off because I know that the work will be done well and I will be safe driving my car after I pick it up. They are good people and seem to treat the employees well too.Google rating score: 4.6 of 5, based on 6 reviews, showing only 5 star reviews
