The demise of KPOJ was a rude awakening for anyone who agrees with Thomas Jefferson that democracy can’t exist without informed, involved citizens.
It’s been a dark time, but Carl Wolfson has stepped up to help fill the void. For the foreseeable future he’ll be our liberal voice facing the contrived choir of conservative con-artists… but he can’t succeed on his own;
Right now, Carl needs our voices as much as we need his. It’s up to us to spread the word that a Progressive spark is flickering back to life in Portland. Our attention and our action is required if we want to maintain liberal talk here.
Please don’t take this opportunity for granted we all need to get involved. Now is the time for us to support the liberal voices we care about. Now is the time to stand up for the objective information we deserve and require to be good citizens.
