Comment-of-the-Month-ButtonComment of the Month

We always ask First-Time clients how they heard about us and three responses came in just this month that we’d like to share with you… client Dan D. said he knew about us from “Friends, KBOO, KPOJ”, Diane H. came to us “via some connection with KBOO Radio”, and Jered S. said XRAY-FM had hooked us up.  There seems to be a common thread.

We’ve been big supporters of community radio for many years because we think it’s such a critical resource.  Though it’s too late to do anything for the late lamented KPOJ, both XRAY-FM and KBOO could use your help and it won’t cost you a thing.  Go to Willamette Week’s Best of Portland Poll where you’ll find both XRAY and KBOO up for Best Radio Station in Portland.  We support them both so we support them both and wouldn’t presume to tell you which one to vote for, but this yearly recognition would be a big boost to either station.  We support independent media voices that are still small and local enough to respond to their listeners, and we hope you will too!  Voting ends 6/16.

What building across streetWhat are they building across the street?

Sellwood Bridgehead, being built across the street from us at 8222 SE 6th, will be a 119 unit multi-family housing project with 49 underground parking spots.  Everyone seems to ask about it when they come by the shop, so we’ll bring you a couple shots each month as our newest Sellwood neighbor takes shape. This month, the structural work is nearing completion as the roof is being built.

RecallListButtonLatest Automotive Recalls

Automobiles are just like any other product; occasional flaws in manufacture or design can cause problems once they leave the factory.  When an issue is identified the manufacturers and government work hard to bring the vehicles back in for refit or repair, but not all recalls make the front pages.  The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration maintains a constantly updated list of recalls from every manufacturer.  The last month’s recalls are below, but clicking the button at right will take you to the full list at the NHTSA website.
