The Best Facility Means the Best Repairs
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is the premiere organization for training and certification in the automotive industry, and we are one of only twelve shops in the Portland area to earn their prestigious ASE Blue-Seal Certification. All our technicians and service advisors are Blue-Seal Certified and many are Blue-Seal Master Technicians, the highest level available. They are each retested every five years to make sure they stay current with changes in the automotive world. We also make the continuing investment in equipment and technology they need to work on increasingly complex, increasingly computerized vehicles. From the moment you enter our shop, you’ll know you’re in the hands of the best trained, best equipped people in the business.
Our Environmental Commitment
Our environmental commitment is much more than just greenwashing. Tom Dwyer Automotive Services was one of the first businesses certified by the Pollution Prevention Outreach program as meeting the most stringent stan-dards in our industry for environmental responsibility, but we go far beyond that. We work with organizations to promote environmental awareness and action like 350.org, Sierra Club, and Willamette Riverkeeper. We recycle everything we can including used motor oil, dirty fluids, and even the mercury in automotive switches. We offset all the carbon production of our shop down to test driving our client’s vehicles, and our Courtesy Shuttles run on E85 Ethanol. But perhaps our proudest achievement is our Tom Dwyer Automotive Carbon Neutral Program, a partnership with Bonneville Environmental Foundation that has already offset more than 1.4 million pounds of carbon from our atmosphere!
