The heat’s getting serious and Sellwoodians know the best way to cool down is a favorite beverage sipped at sunset to the accompaniment of LIVE MUSIC! The only thing that could possibly make that any better is if the music was FREE! Well, your friends at SMILE (Sellwood Moreland Improvement League) have you covered, with a little help from Tom Dwyer and several of our other Sellwood institutions. The FREE SMILE SUMMER MUSIC begins July 11, when Tom Dwyer Automotive will kickoff the season with the powerhouse soul of Lilla, 630p at the Moreland Presbyterian Church. The concerts continue every Saturday, including Sundae in the Park, Sellwood Street Fair, and Summer Free For All, until the final show on 8/22 with Blocl Alegria. We’d say make plans to be at one of these killer shows, but then you’d be cheating yourself… make plans to be at ALL OF THEM!
