You voted, and our 2021 Referral Reward Yearly Winner is….
Nothing means more to us than one of our clients who thinks enough of our service to recommend us to their friends and family, and we try our best to say ‘thank you’ by making donations to the non-profit group of your choice. This Referral Reward Program runs throughout the year, and culminates in our Yearly Award when our Clients pick one group to get $1000! It was a three way tie until last week, when one group pulled ahead by just two votes, and now this year’s $1000 goes to a local group doing great works with kids. The Sellwood Middle School is one of our local PPS Schools, serving students in our own Sellwood neighborhood at the corner of SE 15th and Umatilla. Here’s a little hello from their Foundation page…
“The Sellwood Middle School Foundation raises money to fill budget gaps, allowing for our principal to hire more teachers. Due to the erosion of state funding for public schools, class sizes are on the rise and class offerings are decreasing. Our children deserve better than what state budgets allow, and the Foundation has the ability to dramatically improve the education of students at Sellwood Middle School.
The Foundation is an all-volunteer, parent-led organization. We have one goal in mind: increase teacher to student ratio and enhance elective choices. We believe that students can thrive given the proper support, and that high-quality relevant electives are crucial for a 21st century education. We believe that a school with an active community can go from a good school to a great school. We believe in Sellwood Middle School and its students.”
Our check to Sellwood Middle School will close out our 2021 Referral Reward Program, but it’s going to be going on all through 2022. Bring us a new client, and we’ll be calling YOU to say thanks!
