We’re told to fear unarmed migrants, to run in fear from ISIS and the Taliban, to cower from the dark skinned folks who want to steal elections that rightly belong to white folks. We’re pushed to fear “the other” because “we” are under threat, and it’s an extremely useful tactic to those vile enough to use it.
But the bombs, bats, and guns of domestic terrorism are a much bigger threat than the foreign-born bogeymen under our beds. They’re worse not just because they kill more of us than the foreigners, but because they ARE “us”. They’re our own people, striking from inside our own camp at everything we (and they) theoretically believe in. The semi-literate thugs of Proud Boys, Aryan Nation, and the KKK are real threats, but they aren’t the worst. The worst are the ones who don’t just espouse these diseased thoughts, but are in positions of power as well…
As the very ugly 2018 midterms are ending we found someone who is a stand-out motivator for madness. Even as your bile is bubbling for so many good reasons make room for one more… meet Matt Shea, current State Representative in Washington from the Spokane area and candidate for re-election. He’s got a vision of the future he’d like to share… a roadmap to overthrow the government he’s currently a member of and replace it with a violent Christianic theocracy. Here’s some of the not-nearly-enough coverage of Matt, who let us remind you is the INCUMBENT in the race.
