Do you remember when music came on flat discs, in packages large enough to see the art? As these albums (kids in the audience- look it up!) show, that may have been a mixed blessing. Large art didn’t necessarily mean good art, and the era of the album was also the era of polyester, plasticized hair, bad shoes, and apparently a strange fascination with ventriloquism.
