We look forward all year to the FREE concerts in Sellwood Park. Every Monday night for five weeks, the park is filled with the sound of music, the laughter of families, and the lazy haze of summer. These concerts are part of a larger program put on by Portland Parks and Recreation, who promise there will be some free activity in a Portland park every night through the summer. Concerts, swimming, picnics, movies, and more are available to delight you and your family. But, of course, we’re partial to our own Sellwood shows and we’d like for you to join us. To help tempt you into coming, we’ll share some pictures from the first two shows of the season, “The Quick and Easy Boys” from July 7 and “Pilon D’Azucar” from July 14th’s Salsa Night show. We hope you enjoy this taste of what you’ve been missing, and that you’ll be there for the remaining three shows of the season…
