A real justice system would reward citizens with evidence of crime for coming forward, but whistleblower prosecutions are at an all time high.
Three-strikes laws and mandatory minimum sentences force courts to treat minor crimes as major felonies, swamping our prisons with non-violent offenders.
Banksters fraudulently plundered trillions yet ALEC proposed legislation would create the crime of “mortgage fraud”, prosecuting the victims instead of the criminals.
We have no problem prosecuting little people… With less than five percent of the world’s population, we have twenty five percent of the world’s prisoners.
