July’s Movie Night brings you face to face with one of the men who made “quagmire” a household word.
“Fog of War” is a documentary about Robert McNamara, the Secretary of Defense under presidents Kennedy and Johnson. Although it’s wide-ranging, the film focuses on McNamara’s experiences and lessons from his failures in Vietnam.
“Fog of War” offers a rare glimpse into the mind of someone who, perhaps with the best of intentions, sunk the US in one of the biggest and deadliest quagmires in our history.
