“A picture is worth a thousand words”, so this month we’d like to show you two charts that are worth at least a thousand words each. The first is a chart of bank consolidations from 1990 to 2009, and which banks are still left standing. The second is an interactive graphic that shows many of the Eurozone countries (along with the US and Japan) and the debt we all owe to each other. These two graphs will give you a whole new understanding of both our current banking crisis and the worsening crisis in the Eurozone.
